This is an early conversion of a Model 1861 percussion muskets to a breech loading design. The bore is good, mostly clean with some light corrosion in the roots of the grooves.

Serial # NSN.58 RF caliber musket with a 39” barrel. Includes the original blue plastic case with a box of Briley choke tubes including Skeet, Defuser, I.C., Mod., Imp. The butt is fitted with a black rubber Kick-Eez recoil pad with an LoP of 14-3/4”. The matching checkered butt stock with adjustable comb and blue enamel inserts is in good to very good condition with some heavier scratches from use. The checkered walnut forearm is in very good condition with some minor marks from use. The matte gray alloy receiver with polished sides and blue enamel inserts is in very good condition showing little to no wear with some scattered light scuffs. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in excellent condition showing little wear with some fine scratches. The barrel accepts Optima choke tubes, a “Light Modified” compensated choke tube is installed. semi auto shotgun with a 32” ventilated rib barrel. Includes a Barska 6.5-20x50 scope attached to a rail mount that required drilling of the receiver and a black nylon sling. The hardwood stock and hand guard are in fair to good condition numerous dents and dings with finish wear. The floor plate/trigger guard shows heavy wear with scratching and light surface rust. The metal finish on the barrel and receiver is in fair condition showing heavy wear with little original finish remaining.
The bolt has been altered by attaching a bolt-on handle for scope clearance. Import stamped on the barrel near the muzzle. The numbers on the floor plate and butt plate are matching, the bolt is mis-matched. Made in Russia at the Ishevsk Arsenal in 196. Shortened version of the Model 91/30 with a folding bayonet. The bore is good, mostly clean with somewhat worn rifling, no pitting. 7.62x54Rmm caliber bolt action rifle with a 21” barrel.
